Yes they can, with passion, with ferocity and with fervour.Without feeling the guilt, without the sense of disbalance, without negotiating on the give-in,in their mind.
Why is there a price to be paid always?Mostly there always is, isn’t it? Don’t we always feel we will lose out on something if we follow our passion? And that losing out is always expectations around us.So our acceptance by family, society is always ‘conditional’.Why?
Why can’t we want from the same unconditional non-negotiated space as our counterparts? Why does every wish come with compensating something else? Why does a want have conciliation attached to it? Because if it didn’t,we will be judged,we will be labelled,we will be categorised.
We as a family, society and country, need to recast this,we need to change our patriarchal conditioning for our reformation, for our wholeness, for our holistic growth in every facet of life.Don’t make us justify our wants.Because if we do want,it always comes with a profound sense of righteousness and integrity. It may just transform humanity.Just a thought worth pondering.
